Shimano Stradic 22 SW14000XG Spin Reel

The new Stradic SW range takes the Stradic family of reels to the next level. Purpose-built for offshore, saltwater fishing, the Stradic SW features some of our top reel technologies found in our top end reels. Drawing upon the Stella SWC, both Infinity Drive and Silent Drive are included which provides improved pinion gear support and less wobble inside the reel translating to more powerful, and smoother, cranking. Improving upon the Stradic FL series, the SW series incorporates all the same water resistance technologies, but also includes X-Shield, an internal structure that helps keep water out and protects the internal gears. The Stradic SW 14000XG reel will be perfect for those looking for a lighter, offshore reel.

In addition to the light and powerful hoisting with infinity drive, the waterproof structure X protect boasts waterproof performance equivalent to IPX8, and the X shield shuts out water from entering the body and line rollers. 

A new number has been added to the Stradic SW, which has been attacking the salt scene with power and toughness that are comparable to high-end models. The new 14000XG is a super practical model released by Shimano for the offshore casting scene. 

The largest line capacity in the series, extra high gear with increased winding speed, etc. are all developed with aggressive casting games in mind. The Stradic SW, which has been enhanced with the appearance of a new model, will create a further whirlwind in the SW game.

The 14000XG has a gear ratio of 6.2 and an extra high gear specification that boasts a maximum winding length of 132 cm. The high-speed gear provides good rework and quickly responds to sudden boil-ups  to expand your chances. 

In addition, by instantly winding up line slack, it eliminates lure action errors and hooking time lags, raising the accuracy of casting games to the next level. Furthermore, the maximum drag force is increased to 15 kg by adopting the X tough drag. Heat dissipation has also improved, making it possible to compete head-on with large fish that could not be stopped. 

The handle knob is equipped with an egg-shaped rubber type that matches casting. Along with the line capacity to stock 300m of PE6, it is perfect for targeting big Snapper and Kingfish.
