Designed to overshadow all previous offerings it’s category, the Shadow X has been purpose-built using our latest blank technology and price-conscious componentry to provide an unrivalled balance between price and performance. At the core of the Shadow X is an innovative T45 blank, built by rolling graphite tape at a linear 45-degree angle and reinforcing it with two sheets of graphite rolled at opposing angles. This results in a notable reduction in weight, quick blank recovery, and exceptional sensitivity. To effectively leverage this, the blanks are built using custom mandrels designed to provide technique specific actions. Shadow X slow-jigging rods are fitted with Fuji Alconite guides for optimal line-management, a Shimano graphite reel seat, comfortable EVA grips, and subtle silver winding checks.
