The New Speedmaster Lever Drag is a new addition to the Shimano lever drag camp. their design brief was for a reel to sit just below the Talica range in strength and performance.
The 12LD is the perfect allrounder, covering applications such as Jigging, bottom fishing, and Straylining.
Designed as a durable, castable 2-speed lever drag reel, perfect for fishing either mono or braid, whilst slow trolling livebaits or deep dropping baits. In the hand the new Speed Master LD feels tough, yet has finesse in operation often found in smaller reels.
