The KIX LT is one of the latest generation of spinning reels to feature Daiwa's new LT Body & Spool Concept - Light & Tough. The core principle of tough was central to the design concept for the KIX. Building on the solid based platform of previous LT Concept reels the KIX benefits from the addition of an Aluminium Body, Aluminium Spool, Aluminium Side Plate, and a solid machined Aluminium screw-in handle design. This has achieved a significant increase in structural rigidity and resulted in increased rotational efficiency and durability. Leveraging off this solid base platform the KIX LT incorporates Daiwa's revolutionary Digigear II Drive System. Through advanced technology Daiwa has developed a high precision cutting technique that achieves perfect gear meshing and ultra-smooth performance. Featuring many of Daiwa's other design innovations like Air Rotor, ATD, Airbail, and washable design, the KIX LT introduces a new Tough perspective within the LT Concept range of light tackle spinning reels.
