DX Point hooks are made in Japan from medium gauge high carbon steel wire. They're a suicide / J style hook, with a straight eye and an offset point, perfect for striking when your fish takes the bait.

Referred to as a 'soft bite', the fish will mouth the bait but aren't actively feeding. You can strike the bait and the chemically sharpened point will achieve a solid hook up
