The Shimano Corvalus 400 reel is well suited to a number of different applications from slow jigging and soft baiting for snapper, to bottom bouncing for blue cod and gurnard. The Corvalus has a die-cast aluminium frame, aluminium side plates and spool, three A-RB bearings and one stainless steel roller bearing, and a non-disengaging level wind system on the 400, Super Stopper and Assist Stopper, and a quick take-down system for easy maintenance.
The Variable Brake System controls precise casts and lessens the possibilities of over runs.
